Mole Catching in Much Wenlock

An eruption of moles in this garden lawn, led to only on thing, a call to Mr Mole Man.

Our aim to control the moles in this garden.

A number of traps were set in line with the current activity, Talpex, Tunnel and Scissor all deployed to catch this mole.

On returning to check the traps, one mole had been caught and with no further activity all the mole traps were removed.

Mole catching in Sheriffhales, Shropshire

A large garden in Sheriffhales, which is beseiged by moles, until the owner called Mr Mole Man.

After a walk around the infested areas, training our eyes on the extent of the activity. I set some traps to halt the maruading advance of the moles earlier this week, and we are pleased to have caught one mole.

With the traps reset to be checked at a later date, there was a noticeable decline in the mole activity in this garden.

2016: Welcomed With A Bang Or A Rumble?

Happy New Year to everyone out there in Shropshire and Telford. How did you welcome 2016?

Was it with the stereo kicking out some beats, the champagne corks popping, and the fireworks banging? Or was it the low rumble of earth being pushed up into the shape of a mole hill on the grass outside your home?

The joy of the new year could well be short-lived if you gaze out through the wet and windy January weather, look out across your lawn, and see those tell tale signs of moles. First one mole hill, then another, a third, a fourth, a fifth…

And those numbers are only set to get worse.

Breeding season is coming

If you’ve got moles in your garden at the start of the year, then it’s pretty likely that you’ll have a lot more when the breeding season commences in February.

That means in less than a month, a single mole on your property could multiply three, four or even five times. That’s a lot of moles, a lot of mole hills, and a lot of damage to your flower beds, your gardens and your fields.

And that’s something to be avoided, most definitely.

You’ve probably already read, or even seen first-hand, just the kind of problems a single mole can do to a home, its land, and the family living there. Imagine the extent of the problems if you let that mole breed.

Remember that the cold doesn’t affect moles much; they’re quite happy to breed in February, passing on their nuisance genes to their little mole babies. From an early age, they’ll be running wild underneath your lawn, causing absolute havoc.

Don’t let it happen.

A call to Mr Mole Man can ensure that nightmare scenario remains just that - a nightmare that won’t happen. Catching that single mole now, before breeding season, will make all the difference. Leave it too late, and the nightmare could become a reality.

The number of days left in January is quickly dwindling. Don’t let that mole roam free to reproduce - fix your mole problem now!

Give Mr Mole Man a ring, and he’ll be out to your property in January, come rain or shine, to get rid of that pesky mole before you hear the pitter patter of tiny feet.

Mole Catcher - Mole Catching - Mr Mole Man - Vermin Control - Mole Traps - Pest Control - Mole Poison UK - Shropshire Mole Pest Control - Shrewsbury - UK

I was called to this large estate in Shrewsbury, the moles were quite obviously ruining the grass and new season bulbs with their activity.

I set a number of duffus mole traps in areas of high activity, and within 24 hours I'd caught 2 large moles. With the likelihood of more moles in the area, I reset the duffus mole traps.

Mole Catching in Bridgnorth

I arrived on site and the owner showed me the extent of the damage caused by the mole, and it was by far the worst mole infestation I have seen this year. The mole hills were covering 80 per cent of the lawn, and it was clear that this garden needed my expertise. I set a number of claw mole traps in the lawn and the main run, marking each for reference.

On checking the traps earlier this week, I was pleased to record a catch of one mole, and no further moles humping on the lawn. It was safe to say that I had done my job, and all traps were removed, along with the dead mole.

Mole Catching in Prees

I was called to this country residence in the Shropshire town of Prees which had quite literally been invaded by moles in the garden and the field. The field, as with everywhere else it seems, was covered with the workings of Talpa Europaea.

I assessed the extent of the mole's damage, and began to set a number of claw mole traps in line with the infestation.

I returned to the property yesterday to check the claw mole traps and I was pleased to see a significant reduction in the number of moles hills and record a total catch of five moles.

A number of mole traps were left in the ground to be checked again soon.

A Mole Is For Life, Not Just For Christmas.

What exciting new presents from Christmas are you starting 2015 with?

Did you got some great new walking boots to go out hiking with? Maybe you got a new football to kick around in the garden? Or perhaps you just got lots of little bits and pieces to help brighten up your lawn and perfect that flower bed you’ve been working on.

Let’s hope you didn’t get a mole.

A cuddly mole?… well, they’re ok…maybe. They might be cute and fun to look at, a nice little toy to snuggle up to in bed. But we’re not a big fan.

They’re a bit like impostors, because they trick you and give you a false sense of security. They make you think they’re all nice and friendly, but then when you meet the real thing…

Well, you’re in for a shock.

You don’t see many people cuddling up to snakes or spiders in their bed do you? It’s just the same with moles.

But a cuddly mole for a Christmas present is a lot better than a real mole! That’s definitely not a gift you want to be bringing into the new year.

Because if you have got a mole in your garden, in your field, or in your paddock, you could well be dealing with the problems it causes for the entire year. Maybe even longer.

A mole doesn’t just visit for Christmas you see. Once a mole finds some nice soil to dig its tunnels in - your flower beds for example - it’s there to stay.

And once a mole makes its home on your property, you’ll be experiencing problems and complications again and again, all year long.

Falling trees as the soil underneath them gives way. Unsightly lumps across your lawn throughout every season. And perhaps even broken bones after you stumble on a mole hill, or fall down a collapsed tunnel.

Starting the new year with a mole problem also affects your ability to enjoy all those other problems too!

You can’t go out for a walk in your new boots when you’re likely to trip on a mole hill in the first field you cross can you?

You’ve got no chance of scoring that goal against your kids in the garden, when a great big mole hill sends the ball in the opposite direction, have you?

And those little bits and pieces for your flower bed? Absolutely no use if it’s completely ruined time and time again by that pesky mole.

So if you do spot signs of a mole in your garden, make it your New Year’s Resolution to call Mr. Mole Man as soon as you possibly can. He’ll ensure that destructive mole is gone before you’ve even finished all that left over Christmas chocolate!

Get Mr. Mole Man out to help now, before it’s too late!

Mole Pest Control for Shropshire - Vermin Control - Mole Catcher Prices - Mr Mole Man - Mole Deterrents - Mole Traps - Mole Poison UK - Childs Ercall - UK

I was called to this property in Chiilds Ercall, which was being invaded by moles on two boundaries. After a brief assessment of the mole activity, it was clearly two different moles, and on that basis I set  a number of mole traps in each infested area.

The result on checking the mole traps is one mole caught, which the owner is delighted with and looks forward to further success.

Mole Pest Control - Mole Catcher - Vermin Control - Mr Mole Man - Mole Deterrent - Mole Poison UK - Mole Deterrents - Lea Cross - UK

I was called by an existing customer, if I could deal with the moles that are ruining his newly laid lawn. After arriving on site, I assessed the extent of the mole activity, which was quite a distance. Three fenn mole traps were set along the main run. On checking the mole traps today I was pleased to have caught two moles, and with no further mole activity to be seen, I removed all the fenn traps.

Autumnal Leaves Hide A Dangerous Secret

With the longer nights drawing in, the clocks going back, and the weather taking a turn for the chillier, there’s one comfort we can draw from October in Shropshire: Beautiful autumnal colours.

As the trees start to change colour, there’s a wonderful array of reds, oranges and yellows in our back gardens, making those crisp, frosty mornings all the more bearable as we look out across the fields and see such eclectic colours.

Even when the leaves fall to the ground, they create a beautiful blanket across pristine lawns, really making you appreciate the countryside we have in Shropshire.

But, those leaves on the ground hide a dangerous secret.

For moles, autumn leaves are like an invisibility blanket. Free reign to run wherever they like, and do whatever they feel like. And trust me, moles don’t need any helping hands to run wild in your garden.

Because whilst you might look over your lawn and just see a bed of leaves, underneath, the moles have been getting busy, digging any number of hills and tunnels without you realising.

Then when you’re taking a stroll one crisp autumn morning around the grass, you might stumble on a hidden mole hill. You might want to feel the crunch of freshly fallen leaves under your feet, only to step onto a collapsed mole hill and twist your foot. Or you might want to kick a pile of leaves up into the air and pretend like you 10 years old again, only to end up stubbing your toe on a big pile of up turned dirt, courtesy of a mole.

And as for raking? Well, you’re going to want to stock up on lots or rakes, because you’ll be breaking them every time you think you’re scraping up leaves, and end up dragging a whole mole hill along with you.

So, if you want to actually enjoy the autumnal colours this year, and don’t want to be having nightmares of moles running riot amongst red, orange and yellow leaves, then give Mr. Mole Man a ring.

I’ll come out and make sure your property is completely free, so you can frolic in the leaves as much you want, or clear them away as easily as you’d imagined, without worrying about those troublesome mole hills.
