How to Get Rid of Moles in the Garden - Mole Traps - Mole Repellent - Mr Mole Man - Mole Extermination - Garden Mole Removal - Tunnel Mole Traps - Best Way to Get Rid of Moles in Lawn - Shrewsbury - UK

Moles typically breed from February to July, but with the warmer winters, it’s quite possible that they are now also breeding in September. That’s another 1-7 pups per breeding pair of moles!!

As a mole catcher, Mr Mole Man travels far and wide across the Shropshire countryside, to deal with mole infestations in clients' gardens.

Once a mole has made your garden his home, and a succession of mole hills appear, the general maintenance of your lawn is going to become extremely tiresome, and you will want to get rid of the pesky mole as fast as you can.

Thankfully, Mr Mole Man can help. He uses spring loaded traps, which are set in the subterranean labyrinth of mole tunnels in your lawn, to humanely dispatch the mole or moles, returning your mogul field of lawn back to an oasis of calm. He'll not only return for the traps from your lawn once the mole has been caught, but will also safely and humanely remove the dead moles.

Suprisingly, moles are only 12 centimetres in length and weighing 70 grams. Yet for such a small size, they really do create a lot mess. That is why you will want to call Mr. Mole Man sooner, rather than later, as the latter will mean more tunnels under your lawn, excavated at 4 metres per hour, in 4 hourly shifts.

How do you Trap a Mole - Most Effective Mole Trap - Mole Tunnel Trap - Mole Talpex Trap - Garden Mole - Mr Mole Man - Bicton - UK

I was called to this customers garden in Bicton, which was under seige from mole hills and tunnels. After a brief walk around the garden to assess the extent of the problem, I set a mixture of different mole traps, all marked with a flag for reference.

On returning to check the traps today, I was pleased to see no more activity and I had caught 2 moles. The traps were removed, but I will be calling back soon to check that the moles are still inactive.

How to Catch Moles - Talpex Mole Traps - Mr Mole Man - Mole Smoke Bombs - Garden Mole Removal - Pest Stop - Ash Magna - UK

I was called to this large garden in Whitchurch which was seeing pockets of mole activity explode all over its green lawn, with hills and tunnels causing a menace to the current owners.

After being shown the area concerned I set three claw mole traps in specific areas, and on checking these today I was pleased with catches in all but one of the talpex mole traps.

How to Stop Moles - Moles in Lawns - Mole Trapping Techniques - Best Mole Killer - Trapping a Mole - Mr Mole Man - Ash Magna - UK

I was called to this property in Ash Magna, just outside of Whitchurch, the moles were putting up hills everywhere, and causing untold damage on the owners lawn. After a brief assessment of the extent of the infestation I was setting mole claw traps all over the garden lawn. On returning to check the mole claw traps  yesterday I was pleased to have caught one mole. Three traps were left in place to deal with a fresh speight of mole hills on the lower lawn.

Most Effective Mole Trap - Mole Catcher - Mole Traps - Garden Moles - Exterminator - Mole Repellent - Mr Mole Man - Garden Mole - Shrewsbury - UK

I was called to this quaint property in the centre of Shrewsbury, where the mole was wreaking havoc with its hills on a relatively small lawn. After a brief discussion I set some mole claw traps in the lawn and also in the borders. On returning to check the traps this week I was pleased to have caught one mole, with no futher activity to be seen in the garden.

Get Rid of Moles - Moles in Garden - Mole Catching Tips - Trapping a Mole - Mole Traps - Mole Traps for Sale - Mr Mole Man - Much Wenlock - UK

I was called to this commercial premises in Much Wenlock where I have previously trapped a number of moles, but the fresh activity was near the fence line and there was a clear line of ridges in the turf, and the obligatory mole hill.

After a quick assessment 3 mole claw traps were set and on checking these traps today I have caught one mole with no further activity to be seen.

The trapped mole is a juvenile, quite common at this time of year, and they create their own tunnels when forced to leave the nest during the breeding season from February to June.

Mole Catching - Mole Traps UK - Pest Management for Shropshire - Fumigation - Pest Exterminator - Sonic Mole Repeller - Mr Mole Man - Much Wenlock - UK

I was called to the grounds of this commercial premises, which was seeing high levels of mole activity, with five new mole hills appearing each day, something had to be done and fast, that's when they called me. I was on site within an hour, after assessing the situation I set a number of claw mole traps.

On checking the mole traps I was glad to report that one mole had be dispatched, but with the tell tale signs of cannibalism the traps were reset and will be checked again soon.

Vermin Control - Mole Catching Prices - Pest Control Jobs - Mole Traps for Sale - Pest Control Telford - Garden Mole Removal - Mr Mole Man - Shropshire - UK

The entire world is watching. The fate of England’s World Cup chances lie in your hands, as you’re passed the ball in the final, with a clear run to goal. You run left, you dribble right, and you’re on track to score that brilliant goal and win it for England, when your foot catches a mole hill on the grass. You stumble, trip and fall, and you lose the ball. Game over.

Or it might be that you need to score that penalty to seal victory. You kick the perfect shot, it’s low and powerful, bottom right corner, when the ball hits a mole hill. Mud goes everywhere, into the goal, but the ball just rolls off to the side. Again - game over.

When you’re nine years old and you miss that goal, it’s like the end of the world. The hopes of the nation are on your shoulders as you run back and forth in the back garden, but then those mole hills get in the way. Heartbreaking.

Not only does having a mole in your back garden cause your children no end of problems when they’re trying to recreate the world cup, it’s also really dangerous. Yes, it might cause them to miss the goal and send mud flying everywhere, but they could also trip on a mole hill they haven’t seen and twist an ankle, or even break a leg.

If you have moles in your garden, you need to get in touch with Mr. Mole Man as soon as possible, because if there were a Mole World Cup, England might actually win. Our moles are all like Pele. There’s no stopping them once they’re on the field. They weave in and out of your flowers, dodge your best efforts to tackle them, and pop up here, there and everywhere. They’ll upset your chances of having a nice looking garden, that’s for sure.

Moles are so quick, and once they’re in your garden, you’ve got no hope in chasing them away yourself. And they’re stubborn too. Just when you think you’ve get them covered, they’ll slip away and up pops another mole hill. Once they’re in, you need a professional to get rid of them.

And whilst Mr. Mole Man might not be a professional footballer, he’s certainly a professional mole catcher. Give him a ring, and he’ll be there in no time at all, to save the day, and get that football match the ending it deserves.

The Myths Behind Moles and Mole Catching - Best Mole Deterrent - Talpex Mole Traps - Mole Exterminator - Mole Problems - Sonic Mole Repeller - Mole Pest Control for Shropshire - UK

The Myths Behind Moles and Mole Catching.

Recently, Mr. Mole Man was featured again on the radio, this time on BBC Radio Midlands, talking about the importance of mole catching. But as if often the case with TV and Radio, timings are strict, and producers want you to take things in a certain direction, so Mr. Mole Man didn’t quite have the time to get across all the important points he wanted to make.

Every day, Mr. Mole Man comes up against common misconceptions about what moles are like. Books, films and the media, all have a tendency to portray moles as these blind, helpless little creatures who are super cute and cuddly. You can pick up a copy of Wind in the Willows and fall in love with Mole, or you can buy fluffy cuddly toys of moles for the children in your family.

But the reality is far, far different from the perception here. The media is completely wrong.

Moles are vermin.

They are classified as vermin, and anyone who has ever had a mole in their garden, field, or paddock will tell you exactly how much of a nuisance they are. They’re a pest, and a persistent one at that. Any gardener will tell you how much of a menace moles can be. Moles hills are a nightmare to get rid of, and trying to use a lawnmower around them is painstaking work, and wastes a huge amount of time. There are often hidden mole hills too, which can destroy lawn mower blades and cost a fortune to replace. And of course, there’s always the chance that a collapsed mole tunnel will destroy a prized flower bed, or even cause a twisted ankle (or worse!)

There really is no easy way to deter a mole from infesting your land, and they are certainly not easy to catch. Not in the slightest.

Moles, though they are blind, are actually very cunning creatures. Maybe that’s why in the Disney film G-Force, the mole is bad guy. This is perhaps the closest to the truth the mainstream media has come in portraying moles!  Moles are ferocious eaters, and will tunnel and burrow underneath your lawns and property in no time at all, barely stopping to rest or sleep. They can’t be flushed away, chased out or scared away. They have to be caught.

And that’s where there are other myths about mole catching too, about the evil brutality of mole catchers trying to use all different kinds of horrible methods to capture moles - fire, water, bombs, poison. You name it, there is a myth about it, which is why many people have a tendency to feel sorry about moles.

But none of this is true anymore. Perhaps in the past, some of these methods were employed, but traditional mole catchers have always relied on one skill to catch moles, and it’s the quickest and most humane way to rid your garden of a mole infestation. The trap.

Mr. Mole Man uses his expert skill to efficiently set spring loaded traps at strategic places across your garden, to capture any moles that might be running around in tunnels in no time at all. Moles can’t be captured alive and set free, because they simply return straight away to cause more damage. The only real option, is to trap and kill them immediately, so they don’t experience any pain, and the problem in your garden is sorted out in no time at all.

If you want to know what moles are really like, then please do get in touch with Mr. Mole Man. His years of experience have resulted in all kinds of stories about the true nature of moles, and he’s always more than happy to share them.

Mole Eradication - How to Set Mole Traps - Mr Mole Man - Exterminator - Scissor Mole Traps - Best Mole Trap - Catching Moles - Cold Hatton - UK

I was called to this pasture in Cold Hatton, Shropshire, by a local landowner who was seeing a resurgence in mole activity and wanted them exterminated. A number of traps were set, and today they were checked for the sceond time, pleased to report that there is no signs of fresh activity and one more mole has been caught.

All indications would suggest that for the time being, the moe population on this pasture have been controlled. If you would like the same results on your land then I look forward to hearing from you.
